Cache Creek Bolsters Talent Pool With Two Key Leadership Hires

Region’s Largest Casino Resort Welcomes New Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Financial Officer

BROOKS, Calif. (March 26, 2021) – Cache Creek Casino Resort, Northern California’s largest casino resort, announced today that Stephen Bailey has been named Vice President of Information Technology and Mark Pirruccello has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

“It takes world-class talent to provide our guests with a world-class experience,” said General Manager and Chief Operating Office Kari Stout-Smith. “I’m pleased that these key positions in our organization will be filled by some of the best in the business.”

Bailey comes to Cache Creek from The Venetian in Las Vegas. Drawing also on experience in Silicon Valley and the retail sector, Bailey’s resumé reflects both the deep knowledge and broad skillset it takes to handle the technology demands of a complex organization.

While his purview will be Cache Creek’s technology systems, Bailey says his success will start with people. By starting with the customer and working backward, while finding and developing the best personnel, he believes he will be able to strengthen Cache Creek’s existing systems and deliver new capabilities.

“I’m excited to join an organization that invests so highly in its people,” Bailey said. “The opportunity to help Cache Creek accelerate the maturity of its technology and cybersecurity functions is a challenge I welcome.”

Meanwhile, the search for a top-tier Chief Financial Officer led Cache Creek to its own backyard. Since 2013, Mark Pirruccello has served as Cache Creek’s Vice President of Finance. His focus on integrity and accuracy has been exemplary. In his new role, he will have the opportunity to continue improving guest experience and back-of-the-house operations as well, in particular by leveraging the casino’s sweeping new expansion.

“It’s a pleasure to work for such thoughtful owners. The Yocha Dehe Tribal Council and the Cache Creek Casino Board of Directors have set a high bar for integrity, humility, generosity, and gratitude,” Pirruccello said.

Cache Creek Casino Resort, owned and operated by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, is California’s premier casino resort. Located 40 miles northwest of Sacramento and 80 miles from the San Francisco Bay Area in Brooks, CA, it features more than 600 four-diamond luxury hotel rooms, thousands of exclusive slot machines, hundreds of table games, ten incredible dining experiences, world-class nightlife, a full-service spa, and an 18-hole championship golf course.
