Rancho Mirage, CA (June 25, 2026)- Agua Caliente Casinos is pleased to announce its signature restaurant The Steakhouse, has earned two internationally recognized awards; both restaurant locations in the greater Palm Springs area, have earned Wine Spectator’s 2026 Award of Excellence. For The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage, this marks the 19th consecutive year with this honor. For The Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, in the heart of downtown, this earning marks their 22nd consecutive year of winning this award. Both are being honored for their outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2026 Restaurant Awards, which celebrate the world’s best restaurants for wine.
Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence recognizes restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. The wine list at The Steakhouse in Rancho Mirage includes more than 300 selections and an inventory with more than 4,000 bottles. The full list is presented to guests on a tablet and easily sorts through by-the-glass and by-the-bottle offerings by name, price, or region. The Steakhouse in Palm Springs has over 1,000 bottles of inventory with 175 selections to choose from.
Both The Steakhouse locations pride themselves in serving the best cuts of prime beef and fresh seafood fare, led by Executive Chef Juan Morales and Executive Chef Brian Kenney. Every meat cut is hand-selected USDA prime that is specially aged for 21 days and seasoned with a special dry rub, ensuring that every bite will be unforgettable.
