Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO, Ray Halbritter, Named to City & State New York’s  Upstate Power 100

Oneida Indian National Homelands (July 28, 2026) –  Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO, Ray Halbritter, has been named in the Top 10 of City & State New York’s Upstate Power 100. The distinction honors Halbritter’s leadership in New York’s cultural, tourism and hospitality industries.

This year’s recognition highlights the grand opening of the Turning Stone Evolution, the historic $400 million expansion of Turning Stone Resort Casino that has added a 258-room luxury hotel, The Crescent, fine-dining restaurant, Salt, and an on-site medical clinic, Rome Health Convenient Care at Turning Stone. The second phase of the Turning Stone Evolution will open Labor Day with The Grand Expo doubling event space (to 225,000 square feet) and transforming Turning Stone into New York’s largest meetings and conventions resort.

Earlier this month, a press conference was held to celebrate the grand opening of the first phase of the Turning Stone Evolution. The event brought together Oneida Indian Nation leadership, elected officials, business and tourism leaders and community representatives who spoke about how the evolution was strengthening the economy, building life-long careers, and investing billions in tourism spending that rivals New York City.

The Turning Stone Evolution is delivering approximately $600 million in local economic impact, supporting thousands of construction and hospitality jobs and more than $22 million in state and local tax revenues. Turning Stone Enterprises is one of the largest employers in Central New York with more than 5,200 team members. Turning Stone Enterprises’ portfolio of hospitality, gaming and recreational destinations includes Turning Stone Resort Casino, YBR Casino & Sports Book, Point Place Casino Hotel, The Lake House at Sylvan Beach, The Cove at Sylvan Beach, Maple Leaf Market and SavOn convenience stores, an RV park, two marinas, a hunting preserve and salmon-fishing destination and Wáhta’ Maple Farm.
