BEAT unites former King Crimson members Adrian Belew and Tony Levin with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai and legendary drummer Terry Bozzio for a powerful live celebration of King Crimson’s groundbreaking music. When the ensemble’s existence was first made public on April 2, 2024, the vision was to present a creative reinterpretation of the three iconic 1980s King Crimson albums – Discipline, Beat, and Three of a Perfect Pair. The project quickly became a global success, selling out venues across the U.S. and expanding to performances throughout Mexico, South America, Japan, the United Kingdom and Europe.
For the upcoming tour, fans can expect an evolved live experience featuring Bozzio behind the drum kit and the addition of material from King Crimson’s 1990s catalog. While continuing to evolve and expand its repertoire, BEAT remains true to the music and the spirit that inspired the ensemble from its inception, earning widespread praise for its musicianship, chemistry and adventurous approach to one of progressive rock’s most celebrated catalogs.
