Hello everyone,
Brady Scott here from Tribal Gaming & Hospitality Magazine.
This year has already had an amazing start for our team, as our parent company, Raving, is celebrating our 25th year. We also celebrated our 25th conference of Raving NEXT this past January with an incredibly successful event that gathered Tribal leaders and operators from across the country. We have many more ways that we’re celebrating our quarter of a century in gaming this year and we hope we get to see you in person.
Our next road trip will be to the Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention in San Diego this March. TG&H will be reporting from the floor. Please stop by booth #1735 to say “hello” to both the Raving and TG&H teams.
Getting into our Spring issue, our feature story is about a very unique property — Elwha River Casino, located in Port Angeles, on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Their General Manager, Mike Watson, chats with TG&H about their expansion project and the impact it will have on their Tribe when it opens in Spring.
Some of the highlights in this issue that I know you’ll find thought provoking include: Are you Drilling Deep Enough on Promotional Analysis?; How to Train Your Order Takers in Restaurants and Bars to be Professional Salespeople; and the video interview, Contract Challenges with VIP Events at Tribal Casinos.
On behalf of the editorial board, the team at Raving and TG&H, thank you to our subscribers and to our advertisers for your continued readership and support. We’re working hard to be your resource for operational insights, industry events and to be a voice for Tribal gaming.
Tsu tse wass and so long for now.
