Incredible Technologies’ Decades of Gaming Experience Coming to Class II

“IT has a reputation in other markets to bring a fresh array of products that will help maximize our gaming floor with one of a kind game configurations and signage opportunities that we need to keep our patrons happy, comfortable, and engaged. Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort looks forward to partnering with the IT team to continue to bring the hottest new products to Washington State.”

Incredible Technologies’ (IT) storied gaming history began in 1985 with pinball hardware and software development. In 2011, after decades of experience in the coin-operated amusement game space, the company made the strategic decision to diversify its offerings by entering the casino gaming market, and a new era of IT began.

Co-owners Elaine Hodgson and Richard Ditton co-founded Incredible Technologies as a basement startup in 1985

IT slot machines were by no means an overnight success in their casino debut. The company arrived at its first gaming tradeshows with some never-before-seen game mechanics (reels spinning sideways?!) while standing on the success of its smash-hit amusement game, Golden Tee Golf®. Casino operators were asked to take a chance on a small, unproven manufacturer with a passion for making games. Many of the company’s first customers were Class III Tribal operators who were willing to experience the growing and learning pains of a company finding its feet in a new market.

It took years of development, testing and hard lessons for IT to arrive at its first commercially successful gaming platform: Infinity®. When IT found success on the Infinity platform with games like Crazy Money® and Money Rain®, the gaming industry took notice and the Class III expansion continued. The partnership with those initial Tribal operators who took a risk on IT in the beginning remains today, with many hosting test banks and providing valuable feedback which makes IT a stronger company in the long run. IT has never wavered on its commitment to the success of Tribal gaming.

After nearly a decade of manufacturing slot machines, IT’s Development and Engineering teams have learned a lot; processes have been refined and optimized. IT is operating more efficiently than ever and challenging its employees to meet the innovation needs of the industry. Award-winning cabinets are coming to Class II casinos to optimize floors with unique bank configurations and strong, proven themes.

“One year after expanding our property, we have an interesting year to reflect on. Bringing more unique amenities and food alone would not protect you from the tumultuous times and challenges 2020 has presented us. Now more than ever, it is important to utilize your property square footage efficiently. Large long banks are no longer desirable, nor do they give players the safety and comfort they seek. IT has a reputation in other markets to bring a fresh array of products that will help maximize our gaming floor with one of a kind game configurations and signage opportunities that we need to keep our patrons happy, comfortable, and engaged. Angel Of The Winds Casino Resort looks forward to partnering with the IT team to continue to bring the hottest new products to Washington State.”

Initial tests of IT’s central determinate gaming system have been completed at partner locations in the Midwest. The company’s industry-first cabinet Infinity Skybox® will be available to Class II customers with bingo versions of smash-hit Class III themes. Soon to follow will be the Infinity® V55™ form factor with its highest performing bank merchandising configurations utilizing the Edge – a 4K video wedge unlike any other spacing or merchandising solution. While IT plans to debut with successful Class III titles, an independent pipeline of Class II-only games is underway.

IT’s commitment to Tribal Sovereignty is underscored by its entrance into Class II gaming. The more successful, high performing games on their floors, the better position Tribal operators are in to advocate for their casinos and communities. For IT, a successful entrance into the market means more than just a larger footprint.

IT remains committed to supporting Indian Gaming as members of the National Indian Gaming Association, Washington Indian Gaming Association, and California Nations Indian Gaming Association.
