Three Additional Artists Join Northern Quest Resort & Casino’s 2021 Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concerts

Spokane, WA (May 10, 2021) – The Northern Quest Resort & Casino 10th annual Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concert lineup just keeps getting better! If you’re into classic rock or country, you won’t want to miss Roger Daltrey (former lead singer of The Who), Sublime with Rome and Lifehouse and Old Dominion with Caitlyn Smith!

Unlike any other venue in the area, the BECU Live outdoor concert venue at Northern Quest has breathtaking sunsets, great views from every seat and free parking. After a drought of opportunities to experience the magic of live music, now’s your chance to celebrate with some of your favorite artists.

All Northern Quest Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concerts are reserved seating only.  Tickets for the three new shows will go on sale for individual concerts beginning on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 9 a.m. and can be purchased by ordering online at www.northernquest.com. Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. All concerts require guests 16 year of age and under to be accompanied by an adult.

The beautiful BECU Live outdoor concert venue at Northern Quest provides 5,000 seats, including 3,000 individual stadium seats, premium box seats and VIP terraces, along with more than 11,000 square feet of space, a 60’x40’ stage as well as food and beverage vendors to accommodate guests. Home to the Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concert lineup, the venue may also be rented for private outdoor events, including parties, corporate events, weddings, receptions and more.

Northern Quest Resort & Casino is located on sovereign tribal land and governed by the laws of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. Please understand that guests will enter the outdoor venue at their own risk. Jeff Dunham – July 10

A comedian with a few personalities like no other, Jeff Dunham holds the throne as the most successful ventriloquist of our time. With television specials on Comedy Central, NBC and Netflix, as well as record-breaking sales on his live tours across the world, Dunham is known as a global comedy superstar and one of the world’s most inventive entertainers. He travels and performs with his cast of hilarious characters – Walter, Achmed, Peanut, Jose and Bubba J, showcasing his remarkable ability to perform and entertain with different voices and personalities.

Ice Cube – July 22

Renowned as one of the founding fathers of gangsta rap, platinum recording artist Ice Cube gained notoriety in the late 80s as the primary performer of N.W.A. and launched into the 90s as one of the major influencers of rap music. His platinum-selling albums AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted and Death Certificate are known as two of the early albums of rap, which defined the genre into the current day. Aside from his contributions to mainstream rap music, Ice Cube has starred in multiple feature films including Boyz n the Hood, the Friday series, Barbershop, Ride Along and XXX.

Smokey Robinson – July 24

No need to “Shop Around” for a great night of iconic Motown music. William “Smokey” Robinson, Jr., once called America’s “greatest living poet,” has shaped the landscape of our music culture for more than five decades. He has received the Grammy Living Legend Award, Kennedy Center Honors and has been inducted into both the Rock ‘n’ Roll and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. With his singing group, The Miracles, Robinson’s “Shop Around” became Motown’s first #1 hit on the R&B singles chart. He went on to pen such hits as, “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me,” “Ooo Baby Baby,” “My Girl,” “More Love” and “Tears of a Clown” (with Stevie Wonder).  Robinson’s solo career led to timeless hits including, “Being With You” and “Cruisin’.” During his long career, Robinson has accumulated more than 4,000 songs and 37 Top 40 hits to his credit and continues to thrill sold-out audiences around the world.

Rodney Carrington – August 6

A man of many talents, Rodney Carrington is a comedian, actor, singer and writer who is recognized as one of the top five touring comedians by Pollstar. Two of his 11 albums, Laughter’s Good and The Hits both reached number one on the Overall Comedy Charts, with his others all hitting the Top 10.  Carrington made his breakthrough in 1998 with the release of Hangin’ With Rodney. He reached gold status in 2000 with the release ofMorning Wood and hit platinum with his Greatest Hits album in 2004. Carrington’s success comes from his unique ability to connect with his audience, regularly performing to sold out crowds across the US, Canada, and even Australia.

Billy Idol – August 12

Billy Idol, an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor, first achieved fame in the 1970s as lead singer of the punk rock group Generation X. His subsequent solo career led to international recognition with worldwide exposure on MTV. His debut solo album released in 1982, Billy Idol, included several hit singles with accompanying videos that made him a star. “Dancing with Myself” and “White Wedding” carried Idol onto the success of his second solo album, Rebel Yell, where he reached the Billboard Hot 100 with hits like “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without a Face” and “Flesh for Fantasy.”

Brantley Gilbert – August 13

As one of only five Country artists this century with back-to-back platinum albums, this Georgia-born Country rocker and songwriter has built a legion of fans known as BG Nation. And it’s a “nation” likely to grow based on his recent six number one country hits and numerous awards, including Top New Male Artist in 2013 and Favorite Country Album for Just As I Am the following year. Get ready for a little Fire & Brimstone when the BG Nation descends upon the Inland Northwest.

Collective Soul & Better Than Ezra with special guest Tonic – August 20

With their 1993 release of Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid, Collective Soul, a Georgia-bred alternative rock band, found fame with their hit“Shine.” They followed it up two years later with their self-titled album featuring four Top 10 singles: “December,” “The World I Know,” “Gel” and “Smashing Young Man.” Now into their 26th year, Collective Soul is still putting out new music with 2019’s Blood. And with three of the original band members still touring, their live shows are a dynamic integration of fan favorites and fresh new material.

Better Than Ezra, a Louisiana-based band, has given us plenty of alt-rock music to enjoy. From their platinum 1993 debut track of Good to 2018’s release of Grateful, we’re just glad they’re still making music. Tonic is an L.A. alt-rock post-grunge group that shook the ’90’s charts with Lemon Parade and “If You Could Only See.” The momentum continued into the 2000s with Head on Straight which garnered Grammy nods for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with “Take Me As I Am.” After a hiatus in 2004 to pursue other interests, the band reunited in 2008 and celebrated Lemon Parade’s 20th anniversary with an all-acoustic version in 2016.

Sammy Hagar & The Circle – August 22

With more than 40 years of hits, Sammy Hagar and The Circle is back on tour rocking venues with their newest album Lockdown 2020 released in January 2021. Celebrating his 32nd album, the “Red Rocker” himself along with former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham on the drums and Vic Johnson on the guitar, will bring new rock as well as their classics to fans across North America. Hagar, joining Van Halen in 1986, catapulted the iconic rock group to four consecutive #1 albums, a Grammy Award and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, before leaving the group in 1996. The Red Rocker is known for his legendary rock anthems such as “I Can’t Drive 55,” “Right Now” and “Why Can’t This Be Love.” Along his journey, Hagar has also become a dedicated philanthropist, a New York Times best-selling author and an entrepreneur with his iconic restaurants and spirits.

Roger Daltrey – September 1

This co-founder and front man of the legendary band The Who, solo artist, and one of the “gods of rock and roll,” is set to take our stage for a night You Better You Bet will be one to remember.  Aside from a slew of generation-defying hits as the lead singer of The Who (think Pinball Wizard, Won’t Get Fooled Again, and Baba O’Riley), Daltrey has released ten solo studio albums, five compilations, and one live album while also pursuing a successful career in TV and film. Most notable in a long list of accolades includes a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a Golden Globe nomination for his starring role in The Who’s rock opera Tommy.

Foreigner – September 16

With ten multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, Foreigner has been hailed as one of rock-n-roll’s legendary bands. Founded in 1976, Foreigner’s debut album produced several enduring rock anthems, including “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” The album “Double Vision” followed, as did a string of hits including “Urgent,” Juke Box Hero” and “Waiting For A Girl Like You.” More than 40 years into the game, Foreigner still sells out crowds with worldwide hits like “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Head Games” and “Say You Will.” At Foreigner’s core is the founder and Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, lead singer Kelly Hansen, multi-instrumentalist Tom Gimbel, noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson and Chris Frazier on drums.

Sublime with Rome/Lifehouse – September 19

Eric Wilson from the band Sublime and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez have paired up to make a statement – their statement. Their 2019 album was produced by Rob Cavallo, who has formerly worked with Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Linkin Park. Sublime with Rome will be joined by Lifehouse, the California-based alternative rock band who hit the scene in 2000 with the breakout single “Hanging by a Moment”, which reached number 2 on the Hot 100 chart. Two decades later, Lifehouse is still putting out new music, and band members Jason, Rick, and Bryce enjoy giving back to the fans who made them a household name with the most played radio track of 2001.

Darius Rucker – September 24
Darius Rucker returns to Northern Quest for the first time in almost ten years! Widely known as the former front man of Hootie and the Blowfish, Rucker has embraced a country approach for his successful solo career.  He has found widespread acclaim and praise for his live performances, vocals and songwriting abilities. Rucker has several huge hits to his credit including, “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It,” “It Won’t Be Like This for Long,” “Alright,” “Come Back Song,” “This” and “Homegrown Honey.”

Old Dominion – September 25

Since breaking into the country music scene in 2004, Old Dominion has brought you chart topping hits like “Break Up with Him”, “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart”, and “Hotel Key.” Recently named CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Old Dominion delivers a contemporary country style sure to bring you to your feet. Not only mega successful, the band, (whose members are mostly from Virginia), feel a collaboration and kinship that fulfills childhood dreams.  Don’t miss out on a live performance by the reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year.
