TEMECULA, Calif. (January 11, 2023) — If you have been dreaming of sunnier days and working outside, Pechanga Resort Casino’s upcoming career days for its award-winning pool oasis, The Cove, is a must-go. The resort/casino is hosting two Cove career days on Tuesday, January 17 at 10 a.m. and Thursday, January 19 at 2 p.m. All potential candidates interested in soaking up the sun are invited to attend and learn about Pechanga’s hiring process, perks of working at Southern California’s premier employer, the chance to meet with hiring managers. They can potentially receive job offers on the spot. Positions Pechanga looks to fill include everything from line and prep cooks, cashiers, bartenders, barbacks, stewards, cocktail servers, lifeguards, and more. Many of the jobs come with sign on incentives, including $1,000 sign on bonus for lifeguards and $2,500 for cooks who stay in their positions for six months.
Both career days will take place in the Grand Ballroom near the Pechanga Summit Events Center. Each meeting will last approximately one hour, though job seekers can plan to stay longer if looking to speak with an on-site hiring manager. More information can be found at pechanga.com/careers.
Pechanga also raised its minimum wage for non-tipped employees to $17.00 per hour in 2021. California’s minimum wage for employers with more than 26 workers increased to $15.50 per hour as of January 1, 2023.
