(December 12, 2023) — For Christmas 2023, the 120 employees of Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe, New Mexico decorated Angel Trees. Each of the casino departments adopted a live Christmas tree and decorated it to their own selected themes. Teams of every department came together to decorate 18 freshly cut pine trees that are spread throughout the Casino which is celebrating its fifth anniversary. In addition to the casino, the Camel Rock Valero and Camel Rock Studios as well as the Pueblo of Tesuque Development Corporation have trees. Beginning the week of Christmas, the Angel Trees will be donated and delivered to Pueblo of Tesuque area community families who may not be able to have a holiday Christmas Tree.
The trees and casino-wide decorations were done in conjunction with The Delancey Street Foundation, “a community where people with nowhere to turn, turn their lives around. Over 18,000 people have had their lives changed and re-entered their communities as productive, successful citizens.”
