Palms Casino Resort Expands Gaming Experience with New Dedicated Non-Smoking Casino Space

7,300-Square-Foot Expansion Adds More than 200 of the Latest Slot Games, Full-Service Bar and More; Official Grand Opening to Feature “Spin It Forward” IGT Celebrity Charity Slot Challenge Benefiting 10 Local Organizations

LAS VEGAS (August 12, 2026) — Palms Casino Resort is giving guests even more ways to play with the debut of a new, fully enclosed non-smoking gaming area, adding 7,300 square feet of dedicated casino space and 224 of the newest and most popular slot games to the resort’s gaming offerings.

Located near the William Hill Sportsbook, the new gaming area will open to the public on Monday, Aug. 24, followed by an official Grand Opening celebration and Spin It Forward IGT Celebrity Charity Slot Challenge on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m.

Unlike a designated non-smoking section within the existing casino floor, the new space offers guests a distinct, enclosed gaming environment with its own full-service bar. The 224-game lineup represents nearly a dozen leading gaming manufacturers, offering guests a broad mix of the latest titles and gaming experiences.

“Guest feedback drives so much of what we do, and expanding our non-smoking gaming options is something we’ve heard consistently,” said Kevin Glass, General Manager of Palms Casino Resort. “This new space combines over 200 of the latest games, a dedicated bar, and a new gaming experience to create an entirely new way to play at Palms. And since Palms was recently recognized as one of the luckiest casinos in the country, we thought we’d make a little more room for the winning to continue.”

Spin it Forward

Palms will officially celebrate the expansion on Tuesday, Sept. 1, beginning at 4 p.m. with an inaugural Spin It Forward Celebrity Charity Slot Challenge, presented by IGT, bringing together invited local personalities to play on behalf of 10 Southern Nevada organizations, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Participating charities include Heaven Can Wait Animal Society; UNLV Chapter of Advancing Indigenous Science & Engineering Society; Proud to Rescue Benevolent Fund; Southern Nevada Joint Management Culinary & Training Fund; S.A.F.E. House; PBS Southern Nevada; The Ability Center; Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada; Springs Preserve Foundation; and Teach For America Nevada.

Each charity will receive a $2,500 donation from the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority. In addition, each charity will receive $1,000 in slot play provided by IGT. Each participating charity may choose to accept the guaranteed $1,000 donation or partner with a celebrity participant, who will play on the organization’s behalf in hopes of growing its contribution.

More Ways to Play in September

The celebration continues throughout September with promotions for Club Serrano members, beginning with Hot Seats Sept. 1–3 and Thursday night Drawings Sept. 10 and 17 offering opportunities to receive Free Slot Play and additional Prizes. Visit Club Serrano for additional details and official rules.

The expansion comes as Palms continues to build on its reputation as one of Las Vegas’ most entertaining places to play. The resort was recently recognized among the nation’s ten “Luckiest Casinos” by Casinos.com.

A Bar Experience All Its Own

The new space will also introduce a bar program distinct from other venues throughout
the resort. Guests can choose from a rotating selection of draft beers from local
breweries, including styles not available at other Palms bars, alongside specialty
cocktails created specifically for the space.

The cocktail menu will include a nitro tequila-forward take on the classic carajillo and a rotating Bartender’s Choice selection of three premium bourbon and scotch flights for $10, giving the bar its own identity whether guests are stopping in between spins or simply looking for something new to try.
