JAMUL, CA (July 13, 2026) – Jamul Casino Resort proudly appoints Kimberly Miranda as Vice President of Finance. Kimberly joined the team in September 2025 as Director of Finance, bringing more than 25 years of financial leadership experience across the gaming and hospitality industries, including expertise in Tribal gaming compliance, capital planning and enterprise financial systems. After quickly demonstrating exceptional leadership and making an immediate impact, she has been promoted to her new role as Vice President of Finance, where she will oversee all financial operations with a focus on driving fiscal performance, operational efficiency and long-term strategic growth.
“Kimberly is an exceptional financial leader whose expertise, integrity, and strategic mindset have already made a tremendous impact on our organization,” said Mary Cheeks, President and General Manager. “She combines deep technical knowledge with the ability to modernize financial operations, develop high-performing teams, and provide sound strategic guidance. Her experience in Tribal gaming, capital planning, and financial transformation makes her the ideal leader to help position Jamul Casino Resort for continued growth and long-term success.”
Throughout her career, Kimberly led finance operations across gaming and hospitality with a consistent record of innovation and discipline. Prior to joining Jamul Casino Resort, she served as Associate Director of Finance at Enchantment Resort and Mii amo Spa in Sedona, Arizona and spent more than 13 years at Cliff Castle Casino Hotel in Camp Verde, Arizona, rising from Controller to Director of Finance. During that time, she guided the property through a major hotel tower expansion, led a migration to cloud-based accounting software, implemented BSA/Title 31 compliance systems and steered the organization through the financial complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic, including securing relief funds, renegotiating debt and sustaining payroll through temporary closures. Her financial reports on Tribal compact matters were also cited by the Arizona State Gaming Agency as model references for other Tribal operations across the state.
“Being a part of the Jamul Casino Resort team has allowed me the opportunity to contribute to an organization with a strong foundation and an exciting future,” said Kimberly. “I’m eager to continue working alongside the leadership team to build on that momentum through sound financial strategy, thoughtful planning and responsible stewardship that supports innovation, operational excellence and the Tribe’s long-term success.”
Since joining Jamul Casino Resort in 2025, Kimberly has played a key role in supporting the property’s continued growth following its hotel expansion, increasing guest loyalty and industry recognition, including its AAA Four Diamond designation. Her extensive experience includes Tribal gaming financial operations, regulatory governance, strategic financial planning, capital management, enterprise financial systems and organizational transformation. This range of expertise has made her an integral member of the resort’s executive team as Jamul Casino Resort continues to strengthen its position as Southern California’s premier gaming and entertainment destination.
