Record-breaking attendance added to the buzz around TribalNet 2022

(September 28, 2022) – TribalNet recently held its 23rd Annual Conference and Tradeshow on Sept 12-15 at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, NV. The conference week included nearly 40 learning sessions, three keynote presentations, 150 exhibitors as well as several fantastic networking opportunities.

TribalNet has been a conduit for connecting tribes to one another and to industry resources, for nearly 25 years, with a focus on technology. As a result, this unique event has become an industry “must attend” for those working in tribal gaming, tribal government and tribal health. The team of Advisory Board members is comprised of leaders in these industry segments, who work year-round to develop a conference agenda that includes the most relevant and current topics.

This year’s agenda brought a variety of topics related to technology and its impact across all departments, with a number of sessions focusing on cybersecurity and the impact of cyber breaches or attacks. Hot topics in tribal gaming included all things digital and future-focused. The tribal health IT track had standing room only attendance for a session covering the IHS Modernization Project, while tribal government sessions covered topics such as broadband and citizen portals.

“The 2022 TribalNet Conference was our largest ever, validating the expanding role in technology planning and discussions that are now shared by leaders across every division of every tribe. Effective technology strategy and solution decisions will continue to be closely tied to the overall success of any tribe or tribal enterprise. At TribalNet, we create great educational content and an environment that strengthens every tribe’s ability to make the best choices by connecting each attendee to their peers who are facing similar challenges and additionally, by connecting them to the relevant solution providers that directly support tribal organizations across the country. Great technology planning and decisions usually equates to far greater success for tribes and their enterprises,” said Mike Day, Founder and Executive Officer of TribalHub.

Plans are well underway for the 24th Annual TribalNet Conference and Tradeshow. TribalHub, the creators of TribalNet, also have plans for many smaller regional events in 2023, as well as their 3rd Annual Tribal Cybersecurity Summit.
