Financial Equipment Company Installs First G+D NotaTracc in a U.S. Casino

WinStar World Casino and Resort: NotaTracc® Currency Automation System Increases Efficiency of Handling Cash

Jenks, Oklahoma Financial Equipment Company has installed the first NotaTracc automated banknote feeding system from Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology America, Inc. (G+D) at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.  The NotaTracc is an automatic cash feeding module that uses a robotic arm to place banknotes in the feed section of high-speed cash processing equipment.

“WinStar is well known in the casino industry for deploying cutting edge technology,” said Joe Horton, president of Financial Equipment Company.  “We are excited to offer this cutting-edge technology to further improve the efficiency of their day-to-day financial operations.”

“We are early adopters of innovative technology at WinStar and we are always looking for operational efficiencies,” said Jack Parkinson, general manager, WinStar World Casino and Resort. “The NotaTracc system directly addresses operational efficiencies by accurately speeding up our cash count processes, allowing us to reallocate our labor resources to other areas of the casino.”

When NotaTracc is paired with a high-speed BPS M5 currency processing system from G+D, throughput increases significantly. The core element of the NotaTracc system is a standardized banknote tray, which allows for secure transport, storage, picking, and placing of loose banknotes. Employees no longer need to constantly supervise the processing system and are able to operate two BPS systems at the same time. The NotaTracc loading module serves as a buffer for up to 40,000 banknotes enabling uninterrupted, productive processing.
