MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (November 6, 2025) — The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN), in partnership with ACES (Area Cooperative Educational Services), proudly presents the 7th Annual All Roads Lead to Chaco Canyon: Navigating Streams of the Digital Economy, taking place November 6–7, 2025, in Premier Ballroom A at the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
This nationally recognized conference brings together tribal leaders, policymakers, educators, innovators, and advocates from across the country to explore the intersection of technology, law, and sovereignty in the modern digital age. The event serves as a platform for meaningful discussion, collaboration, and knowledge sharing focused on how Native Nations can strengthen their digital presence, assert jurisdiction in online spaces, and expand opportunities for economic development.
This year’s theme, “Navigating Streams of the Digital Economy,” highlights how Native Nations are adapting to, and shaping, the evolving digital landscape. Through a series of panels, keynotes, and discussions, experts and thought leaders will address topics including:
- Federal Indian Law & Jurisdiction Over the Digital Space
- The Role of Law in Economic Development
- Data Centers on Native Lands
- Fintech & Access to Capital
- Online Gaming & Sports Betting
- Artificial Intelligence as a Tool for Native Nations
- Indigenous Culture in the Digital Age
The conference will also include conversations around taxation and revenue generation, the revitalization of international trade between Native Nations, and the development of sustainable infrastructure to support digital innovation in Indian Country.

The 2025 event will expand on previous years’ discussions by emphasizing opportunities for Native Nations to leverage technology while preserving cultural heritage, autonomy, and identity in the digital age.
