(December 15, 2025) — January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month and the gaming industry is committed to combatting human trafficking in all its forms.
The AGA is taking the lead to provide tools for the gaming industry to help prevent and fight against human trafficking:
- Educate individuals on what constitutes human trafficking and the risks it poses to the gaming industry.
- Empower gaming employees to act when they notice human trafficking.
- Prevent human trafficking from occurring in—or being facilitated through—gaming operations.
- Protect patrons and employees from the effects of human trafficking.
As part of this important effort, the AGA would welcome the opportunity to help amplify any initiatives your company is undertaking to raise awareness or combat human trafficking. If you have efforts you’d like to share, please reach out to mvanaki@americangaming.org.
