TG&H recently interviewed the National Native American Human Resources Association (NNAHRA) team on an a very important event taking place this May 11-2 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Open to all Tribal casinos and organizations, the National Native American Human Resources Association (NNAHRA) Mental Awareness Summit is designed to help create an understanding of mental health in the workplace. Participants will learn how to identify and address signs of mental distress, support co-workers, and implement strategies to maintain a positive and healthy work environment.
The Summit takes place May 11-12 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
Judy Wright, President, NNAHRA and Vice President of Human Resources, Valley View Casino & Hotel; Suzanne Clem, NNAHRA Board of Directors, Secretary and Human Resources Director at Wildhorse Resort and Casino for the Confederated Tribes Yumatilla Indian Reservation; and Anthony Tillman VP NNAHRA and Cannabis Compliance Manager for the St. Regis Mowhak Tribe spoke passionately about the need for this event.
