Michael is a member of the Squaxin Island Tribe. His experiences include both economic and community development. He has two undergraduate degrees (secondary education and Zoology) from Oregon State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from The Evergreen State College.
He has worked for Federal, State and Tribal governments but his passion is working tribal economic development, casino and resort operations.
Personally, Michael is a fin and shell fisherman and an avid outdoorsman who is excited about the hiking and camping opportunities.
