Opry star makes stops in West Siloam Springs and Roland

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (April 26, 2022) – Lorrie Morgan, one of the most eloquently emotive country vocalists of modern times, is on the road and making stops at SEVEN Bar inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs on Thursday, May 5, at 8 p.m. and Lee Creek Tavern inside Cherokee Casino & Hotel Roland on Friday, May 6, at 8 p.m.

Both shows are free to the public. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

Lorrie Morgan is the first woman in her genre to begin her career with three consecutive platinum albums. As the daughter of Country Music Hall of Fame member George Morgan, Lorrie made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage at age 13, singing “Paper Roses.” She was honored with induction into the Opry cast when she was just 24.

Morgan is no stranger to accolades. Her first three albums, “Leave the Light On,” “Something in Red” and “Watch Me,” all earned platinum awards. Her “Greatest Hits” collection is also platinum. “War Paint,” “Greater Need” and “Shakin’ Things Up” are all gold record numbers.

She sang “The Sad Café” on “Common Threads: Songs of the Eagles,” which was named the CMA Album of the Year in 1994. Country fans also voted Morgan as their TNN/Music City News Female Vocalist of the Year in 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Morgan has maintained her recording pace in the new millennium, releasing collections in 2002, 2004, 2009 and 2010. In 2012 and 2013, she starred and sparkled in the lavish “Enchanted Christmas” productions at the Opryland Resort in Nashville. She took that show on the road in 2014. In 2013, she teamed with fellow Opry star Pam Tillis for the duet “Dos Divas.”
