In 2025, each Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming property had the opportunity to nominate one local charity. Submissions were made in May 2025.
“Hard Rock International has a footprint of philanthropy at each of its locations around the world,” explained Mark Birtha, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. “We are thrilled to be able to secure a Hard Rock Heals Foundation local grant for Hands of Hope here in the Yuba-Sutter region. We know that this grant will expand services for families experiencing homelessness right here in our community.”
“This grant will allow Hands of Hope to assist clients in areas that our current grants do not allow, due to restrictions,” explained Rick Millhollin, Executive Director for Hands of Hope. “In the ever-changing climate of funding for nonprofits, we are very appreciative when our local businesses support us. Hands of Hope would like to thank Hard Rock Sacramento for thinking of us and granting us this funding.”
