Wayland, Mich. (May 7, 2026) – Gun Lake Casino Resort is celebrating the illustrious achievement of earning the coveted AAA Four Diamond designation. GLCR qualified for this status after AAA conducted a rigorous evaluation of essential requirements such as upscale amenities and exceptional guest service. GLCR is now positioned at the top of the hospitality industry in West Michigan, as only three other hotel properties have this special designation.

In March 2025, Gun Lake Casino Resort evolved into a full-service resort with the grand opening of the 16-story luxury hotel tower, full-service spa, and new dining options. The Wawyé Oasis opened in June 2025 offering guests a beautiful glass atrium housing over 32,000 square feet of paradise, with live palm trees set at a perfect temperature of 80 degrees.
