Spokane, WA (February 18, 2022) – Break out your cowboy boots and get ready to dance when country music legend Brad Paisley returns to the Northern Quest Resort & Casino stage on Sunday, June 26, 2022, joining the exciting 11th Annual Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concert lineup at the BECU Live outdoor concert venue.
With three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards and two American Music Awards, this Entertainer of the Year is a household name that music fans from all genres have grown to know and recognize. Paisley has sold more than 11 million albums since his 1999 debut album Who Needs Pictures hit the charts. Paisley became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2001 and has 35 Top 10 singles on the US Billboard Country Airplay chart, 20 of which hit number one. Popular hits include “He Didn’t Have To Be” from his first studio album, “Waiting on a Woman”, “She’s Everything”, “Then”, “When I Get Where I’m Going (Duet with Dolly Parton)”, and “Remind Me (Duet with Carrie Underwood)”, just to name a few. Thanks to his incredible vocal, songwriting and guitar-playing talents, Paisley is still going strong. His most recent duet with Jimmie Allen, “Freedom Was a Highway”, reached number one this month, becoming Paisley’s 20th number one single.

Celebrating more than a decade of delivering premier entertainment to the Inland Northwest, the Pepsi Outdoor Summer Concerts at Northern Quest will be back for a summer jam-packed with the hottest acts across all genres. Fans of rock, pop, comedy, country and more will find themselves in front of their favorite artists as Northern Quest continues with remarkable momentum into its 11th season. Over the past decade, the Kalispel Tribe and Northern Quest Resort & Casino have been honored to welcome ticketholders from 48 different states and ten countries outside of the US, highlighting the capacity to generate millions of dollars into the local economy through tourism and entertainment.
The beautiful BECU Live outdoor concert venue at Northern Quest provides 5,000 seats, including 3,000 individual stadium seats, premium box seats and VIP terraces, along with more than 11,000 square feet of space, a 60’x40’ stage as well as food and beverage vendors to accommodate guests. BECU Live is unlike any other venue in the area with its intimate set-up, breathtaking sunsets, and close-up experiences with each performer.
Several incredible improvements were made to the BECU Live venue this past summer, including the addition of Coors Light Cold Rail technology in the Coors Light Landing sponsor area. Northern Quest is one of the first concert venues in America to install the Coors Light Cold Rail, providing an outstanding guest experience. This state-of-the-art technology brings ice-cold cup holders to 30 lucky ticket holders, with elevated seating, spectacular unobstructed views, and phone chargers at every station, so guests never miss a moment of the fun worrying about a dead battery. The drink holders keep beverages at ice-cold temperatures, ensuring every last sip of Coors Light is always colder than the first.
In addition, Northern Quest added Quest Unhitched during the 2021 summer concert season. Barenaked Ladies with Gin Blossoms and Toad the Wet Sprocket – June 18
With popular hits such as “One Week” and “Pinch Me”, and 15 studio albums, the Barenaked Ladiescarved out their own mark within the music industry with their unique mixture of rock, pop, rap and comedy. Best seen live, the group is known to break out in rap between sets, comedically entertaining the audience with hilarious stories and banter. Current members include Ed Robertson on guitar and lead vocals, Jim Creeggan on bass and vocals, Kevin Hearn on the keyboard and guitar, and drummer Tyler Stewart.
Joining the group is Gin Blossoms, an American rock band who took the United States by storm in the mid-90s with their hit single “Hey Jealousy” from their four-time platinum selling album New Miserable Experience. Their 1996 single “As Long as it Matters” off their second album, Congratulations I’m Sorry, landed them a Grammy Award nomination and continued their commercial success. Following a short split, the band rejoined in 2001 and released three more studio albums, with the most recent hitting the shelves in 2018, Mixed Reality.
Rounding out the epic lineup is Toad the Wet Sprocket, a band with numerous hits from the 90s including “Walk on the Ocean”, “All I Want”, “Something’s Always Wrong”, “Fall Down”, and “Good Intentions.” The band split for about a decade before reconvening full-time in 2010 to begin writing music again and setting out on tour. The current band members include vocalist and guitarist Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and Randy Guss on the drums.
The Avett Brothers – July 15
Two brothers make up the heart and soul of The Avett Brothers, an American folk-rock band from Concord, North Carolina. Seth and Scott Avett teamed up to combine bluegrass, country, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, indie rock, honky tonk and ragtime to shake up the music scene. Since 2002, they have released ten albums and three EPs. They have been named Duo/Group of the Year three different times and nominated several other times. Seth Avett plays the guitar, piano, and hi-hat, while his brother Scott plays banjo, guitar, piano and kick-drum. They share lead vocals and are backed by bassist and violinist Bob Crawford, cellist Joe Kwon, drummer Mike Marsh, fiddler Tania Elizabeth and pianist Bonnie Avett-Rini. Hit songs include “I and Love and You” and “Another is Waiting.”
Goo Goo Dolls with Blue October – July 22
American alternative rock band Goo Goo Dolls started out as a cover band in New York before signing their first deal and releasing their self-titled album in 1987. They achieved mainstream success following the release of their breakthrough single, “Name” in 1995 and their most famous hit, “Iris” in 1998. “Iris” spent nearly 12 straight months on the charts and held the number one position on the Hot 100 Airplay chart for 18 weeks. Goo Goo Dolls has 19 top ten singles on various charts and has sold more than 15 million records worldwide. Other hits include “Slide”, “Better Days”, “Give a Little Bit” and “Let Love In.”
Joining the Goo Goo Dolls is Blue October, an American alternative rock band originally from Houston, TX. Blue October was formed in 1995 and went on to release more than a dozen albums and 17 Top 40 singles, including “Hate Me”, “Into the Ocean” and “Dirt Room.” Blue October features lead singer/songwriter Justin Furstenfeld, drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld, mutli-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye, bassist Matt Noveskey and lead guitarist Will Knaak.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show – August 14
Forming in 1988 and having sold more than 4 million tickets in 35 countries, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is hailed as one of the leading concert performances currently operating. The band began their adventure as a part of a wave of Australian tribute bands and performed in 1993 at the first international Pink Floyd fan convention in conjunction with “Brain Damage”, the Pink Floyd fan magazine, at Wembley Convention Centre. Over the following years, the hit band played bigger and more prestigious venues, including Royal Albert Hall in 2003. It also led to their 2004 arena tour in celebration of the 30thanniversary of Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon”. This tour took the band on to its first major European and North American tours. The band continues to entertain audiences around the world while releasing several live concert DVDs and CDs.
Sam Hunt – September 17
Born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia, Sam Hunt had a successful high school and college football career before pursuing music and signing with MCA Nashville in 2014. Prior to his solo success, he was credited with writing singles for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Billy Currington, and Reba McEntire. Later in 2014, his debut album, Montevallo, was an overnight success, garnering several chart records and five hit singles, including “Leave the Night On”, which hit number one on the Country Airplay charts and went platinum. Other popular hits include “Take Your Time”, “Make You Miss Me” and “Body Like a Back Road”, his biggest hit to date. Hunt has been honored with several coveted awards, including two Academy of Country Music Awards, two American Country Countdown Awards, an American Music Award and a CMT Music Award.
