Airway Heights, WA (July 2, 2024) — For the first time ever, Northern Quest Resort & Casino and the Kalispel Tribe of Indians are raising the bar this Independence Day with a combination drone and fireworks show at the BECU Live outdoor venue with live music, local food trucks, and FREE family fun for the kids on Thursday, July 4, 2024.
New this year, experience Spokane’s only drone show and fireworks spectacular – together in one unforgettable performance! Having recently stunned the nation on America’s Got Talent, Sky Elements Drone Shows will put on a mesmerizing tribal and patriotic-themed display, with 500 drones creating captivating animations over the BECU Live outdoor venue.
Gates will open for family-friendly activities at 4 p.m. Kids can enjoy the outdoor play activities including bouncy houses, water slides, and other fun games free of charge. Local food trucks and Northern Quest concessions will open at 6 p.m., where guests can purchase a variety of tasty items, including delicious pulled pork from Northern Quest’s festive whole-hog barbecue stand. Several magic shows and live bands will entertain guests as they celebrate and wait for the big show to begin at 10 p.m. Camas Rewards Club members can join in on the $5,000 Patriotic Payday giveaway from 4-8 p.m., when the grand prize is drawn on the casino floor. Three armed forces tributes will take place at 4:30 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9:45 p.m.
Free parking is available in the parking garage or in any of the surrounding Northern Quest parking lots. Please be aware that to ensure the highest levels of safety for guests and Team Members, access in and out of the parking garage will be temporarily closed from 9:30-10:30 p.m. during the drone and fireworks show.
Families should plan for hot weather and bring sunscreen for the kids during the afternoon and jackets in the evening as it gets chilly when the sun goes down. Guests may also bring their own blankets. Stadium seating will be available free of charge in the BECU Live venue. Outside food, coolers, alcohol, lawn chairs, and umbrellas are not allowed. Also, for the safety of your pets, please leave them at home. Only approved service animals will be allowed.
