ULSA, Okla. (March 19, 2025) — The 2025 World Series of Poker circuit stop has concluded at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa and WSOP veteran John Dollinger has claimed the circuit crown by winning first place at the Main Event table. He will represent Hard Rock Tulsa at the 2025 World Series of Poker Global Casino Championship in Las Vegas.
Dollinger, an Arroyo Grande, California, native, beat out a Circuit Main Event field of 487 on Monday to earn $147,178, his second WSOP Circuit ring and a seat at the 2025 WSOP Tournament of Champions. It’s his highest cash win, after winning runner-up in a WSOPC Main Event in New Orleans in 2016.
“It does feel really good. I haven’t won an event in nine years, and it’s my first time in Tulsa,” said Dollinger. “I love winning, and there’s nothing more competitive than poker. Everyone has the same deck, and we all start with the same stack. It doesn’t matter where you’re from. It’s a universal game.”
Dollinger shared the final table with runner-up Russell Brooks, Hard Rock’s Event No. 9 $400 Double Stack ring winner, with a prize of $98,109. Iman Alsaden came in third with $67,346.
WSOP Circuit Events are a series of poker tournaments hosted throughout the United States and the world, beginning in early August each year and culminating the following summer, with a $1,000,000 Global Casino Championship where the victor earns a WSOP gold bracelet.
