Effective March 17, 2020 at 12 noon, the Bishop Paiute Tribal Council is responding to the emergency situation of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and has made the decision to close the Paiute Paiute Casino in order protect our staff and community from the spread of COVID-19. The Tribe has also called a State of Emergency in order to more quickly respond to the needs of the community and our Team Members. This was very difficult decision; however, the safety of everyone is our first concern.
The temporary closure is effective through the end of March 2020. We will continue to monitor the Centers for Disease Control, State and Federal recommendations and will keep the community informed. We are taking this time to thank all of our customers for their loyalty during the past 25 years and we look forward to re-opening in the very near future. We are uncertain of what the future holds; however, we will re-open when this crisis is over.
During this closure the Casino will be providing emergency assistance to the casino team members to help them through this temporary closure and ease some of the financial burden this crisis has caused. Please follow us on Facebook to get updates on any changes to our plan.
