PEACH SPRINGS, AZ (September 25, 2026) — Peach Springs will celebrate the history, culture and spirit of Route 66 with Taste of Route 66 on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The family-friendly event will bring together the community and visitors for a full day of food, entertainment, giveaways, classic cars, music and cultural activities along the historic Mother Road.
Presented in partnership with the Hualapai Tribe and Peach Springs, the event will take place at Hualapai Lodge’s parking lot and Route 66 Park, offering attendees an opportunity to experience the community of Peach Springs while celebrating its connection to the iconic highway. Music throughout the event will be provided by 100.9 Walapai, adding a soundtrack to the day’s festivities.
Highlights of the Taste of Route 66 include:
- Giveaways: The first 100 guests and the first 100 Tribal Members will receive a Visit Peach Springs YETI giveaway. The next 100 guests and next 100 Tribal Members will receive a Grand Canyon West All-Access Pass giveaway.
- Classic Car Activation: Classic car participants will have the opportunity to receive two free All-Access Pass tickets to Grand Canyon West, while the first 50 participating cars will receive a free Visit Peach Springs YETI Rambler.
- Cultural Activations: Guests can experience cultural activations highlighting the community and heritage of Peach Springs.
- Kids Zone: Families can enjoy free face painting, free temporary tattoos, a free rock-climbing wall, free bounce houses and more.
- Food Vendors: A variety of food vendors will serve up favorites including fry bread, BBQ, Hawaiian food, Mexican food, pizza slices, hot dogs, funnel cake and more.
- Merchandise Vendors: Guests can shop a variety of offerings including apparel, handmade jewelry, toys, accessories and more.
- Local Specials: Participating Peach Springs businesses will offer specials at Diamond Creek Restaurant, Grand Canyon Coffee, Walapai Market, and Hualapai Lodge & Gift Shop.
The event provides an opportunity for visitors to explore Peach Springs and experience the community located along historic Route 66 while enjoying a day designed for guests of all ages.
