TG&H at G2E 2024 – Our Platform is Your Digital Stage

Last Thursday marked the conclusion of the 24th G2E. The feeling that it was the busiest year, was a real one. According to event organizers, the event attracted over 25,000 gaming professionals and saw an increase in attendance year-over-year, showcased exhibitors from 117 countries, territories, and regions with regulated gaming jurisdictions, and featured more than 100 education sessions. The show also expanded its iGaming Zone to 30 exhibitors, and notably, G2E hosted 115 international exhibitors—the most in its 24-year history.

Tribal Gaming & Hospitality Magazine and Raving covered the event and will be sharing interviews this week (see below). “Every year is a little different, the energy, the buzz. We always come away with new ideas and technology to share with our clients and subscribers; we meet new and upcoming leaders in the industry and get to reconnect with long-term friends," shares CEO & Owner Deana Scott. "It’s incredible to see the power and the influence of tribes and their ongoing commitment to innovation.”

TG&H Live from the Floor with Marcy Laferr, Vice Chair, Kiowa Casino Gaming Authority

In the first of many TG&H Backstage Pass interviews releasing this week, Marcy LaFerr, Vice Chairman of the Board, Kiowa Casino Gaming Authority shares the importance for board members to attend industry events like the Global Gaming Expo.

"Coming to G2E is probably the best way for us, as board members, to experience what everyone else does – why it's important to see the growth of casinos moving forward."

This year, a top-of-mind issue is the potential legalization of gambling in Texas and its effects on neighboring Oklahoma. As LaFerr adds, “It will impact gaming in Oklahoma. Working with our political analysts, we’re focusing on how we differentiate. I had to be here to hear it." Watch the full interview
