Yacht rock meets Hard Rock as genre icon Christopher Cross heads to Tulsa March 20

TULSA, Okla. (November 18, 2025) — Known for his timeless, meticulously crafted songs that have resonated with fans for decades, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Christopher Cross makes a stop at Hard Rock Live inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8 p.m.

Cross rose to international prominence with his self-titled 1980 debut album, becoming the first artist in Grammy history to sweep the four biggest categories in a single year: Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Sailing,” Album of the Year, and Best New Artist.

Over the course of more than four decades, Cross has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. His catalog has earned him five Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination and five Top 10 singles, cementing his status as one of pop music’s most distinctive voices and songwriters.

Soon after his breakthrough, Cross teamed up with legendary composer Burt Bacharach to co-write “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)” for the film “Arthur,” which went on to win the Oscar for Best Original Song. His 1983 follow-up album, “Another Page,” delivered additional Top 10 hits, including “All Right” and “Think of Laura.” His song “Swept Away,” written for the hit television series “Growing Pains,” received an Emmy nomination.

In the years since, Cross has continued to evolve as an artist while remaining true to the melodic craftsmanship that first brought him acclaim. He launched his own label and, beginning in 2007, released a series of albums featuring new material, including “A Christopher Cross Christmas” and “The Café Carlyle Sessions,” a collection of jazz-inflected versions of his hits and favorites inspired by his residency at New York’s famed Hotel Carlyle. His 2018 release, “Take Me as I Am,” showcases sophisticated songwriting and his signature, expressive guitar work.

Cross has returned to the road, performing all over the country. His career-spanning set begins with classics like “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind” and continues through newer material that highlights his ongoing creativity and artistry.

Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale Nov. 21.
