TUCSON, Ariz. (October 3, 2025) — Casino Del Sol is proud to announce its participation in Tucson Meet Yourself (TMY) as a sponsor. Produced by the Southwest Folklife Alliance, Inc. the festival will take place between October 17–19 in Downtown Tucson around Jácome Plaza.
TMY is a highly anticipated event each year in Tucson, as it showcases traditional foodways, music, dance, and craftsmanship from cultures across Southern Arizona. The festival is free and open to the public.
Founded in 1974 by University of Arizona folklorist and anthropologist Dr. James “Big Jim” Griffith—recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts as a National Heritage Fellow—TMY has become the signature annual event of the Southwest Folklife Alliance (SFA). SFA’s mission is to build more equitable and vibrant communities by celebrating the everyday expressions of culture, heritage, and diversity in the Greater Southwest.
