Over 90 organizations attended Raving NEXT: Indian Gaming and Leadership Conference last week, including Tribal government and enterprises as well as industry suppliers and thought-leaders at Pechanga Resort Casino in Southern California.
Why do attendees make the journey to this conference?
To collaborate, share, and problem-solve in our ever-evolving gaming landscape. Attendees were presented with industry data from Raving’s annual and timely January survey along with key insights from leadership on several panels. Critical communication skills were practiced through hands-on exercises and collaborative workshops. Speakers openly address opportunities and threats facing Indian gaming and provided paths to solutions.
This signature conference, is produced by Raving, a Native-owned organization, with a 27-year legacy working with tribal enterprises.
The honesty and candor of presenters, the openness of first-time attendees, and the overall encouraging atmosphere creates an inspiring environment year after year.
Deana Scott, Raving CEO shared, “One comes to this event for meaningful discussion on current and critical issues. Our attendees experience hands-on learning and relationship-building that will serve them for years. We make it our mission to differentiate ourselves from traditional conferences in many ways, by setting up a curriculum and a schedule that provides and intimate and trusted atmosphere for strategic and inspiring discussions.
Our intention? Propel tribal enterprises into the future by giving leaders the tools and information they need. We have leaders in the room that have been with their organizations for over 20 years, learning and collaborating alongside next-gen leaders with less than five years’ experience in their organizations. Everyone has a seat at the table if they want it. ”
The success of the conference is made possible by the support of sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and enthusiastic attendees.
On behalf of Raving and Tribal Gaming & Hospitality Magazine, we want to thank everyone who made last week an unforgettable experience! And yes, it wouldn’t be a Raving event if we didn’t have some laughs together!
