UNCASVILLE, CT (December 5, 2025) – Mohegan Sun is rolling out two marquee Texas Hold’em tournaments this holiday season promising high stakes and serious winnings! Players can take part in the Winter Freeze Tournament from December 19th – 21st and keep the holiday spirit alive into the New Year with the Holiday Hangover Tournament from January 7th – 10th. These no limit Texas Hold’em Poker tournaments each have a $50,000 guarantee with a pay structure that awards the top 12%.
Mohegan Sun’s Winter Freeze Tournament, which is set to take place from December 19th – 21st, has a $400 entry fee that provides players with 25,000 in tournament chips with an option to purchase a 5,000 chip dealer add-on for $10. On-site registration, which will remain open until the beginning of level seven, will take place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room starting at 9:15am on day one. To up the stakes, the player with the highest hand (three of a kind or better) at the end of level one on day one will receive their full buy-in back.
Guests who fell short in the Winter Freeze Tournament or want to reclaim the throne can play in Mohegan Sun’s Holiday Hangover Tournament from January 7th – 10th. This $50,000 guarantee prize pool Texas Hold’em Tournament features a $300 entry fee that provides players with 25,000 tournament chips with the option to purchase a 5,000 chip dealer-add on for $10. On-site registration will take place in the Mohegan Sun Poker Room one hour before the start of each flight on day one and will remain open until the beginning of level nine. This tournament will also feature the high hand promotion where the player with the highest hand (three of a kind or better) at the end of level one on day one will receive their full buy-in back.
