Christine Faria:

Hey everyone. Chris Faria here, executive editor, Tribal Gaming and Hospitality Magazine. Welcome to another special edition of TG&H On Air, sponsored today by QCI. I’m chatting with Andrew Cardno, co-founder and chief technology officer of Quick Custom Intelligence. Welcome Andrew to TG&H On Air. https://quickcustomintelligence.com/

Andrew Cardno:

Well, thank you, Chris. And to, and to TG&H, thank you for the opportunity for being a wonderful sponsor. We really value it. Thank you.

Christine Faria:

For the folks in our audience who may not be familiar with QCI, tell us what problems you solve for Tribal gaming operators.

Andrew Cardno:

So tribal gaming has become a sophisticated brand experience for customers. And so that means that as each customer interacts throughout your business, the touchpoint needs to be data enabled and team members need to be enabled to act in the best way to meet your brand goals. And that’s what we do for tribal nations. Learn more

Christine Faria:

You have a powerful team behind you. Tell me about the QCI culture, your organizational principles, and about those team members. Learn more

Andrew Cardno:

I am so proud to be a part of the QCI team and, and to be a leader at the QCI team. We are very dedicated to having fun with data and making that data fun for our customer environment, for our partners and the culture has been built up around that. We will be engaged in really enjoyable, fun dialogues, but the depth and breadth of your data that you may not want to join in on, but we’re going to have fun. And that’s our culture, and that’s hard work. And people who love to do that gravitate to QCI and for you, it means you can trust us to get your data right, and to get your math right. We are very passionate about it, and nothing is more important in the world of tooling. You know, data’s important, right? Data is critical. Learn more

Christine Faria:

I think you just created a new slogan for your company, “having fun with data.” That’s terrific Andrew. So tell me now about your customers. What makes a good relationship with you and what makes your job harder?

Andrew Cardno:

Well, the first question is easy. The second one that’s a hard question. So, what makes a great relationship? We are very focused on innovation and partnership. So every single week we meet with every single one of our, our customer partners and our deployments. And we ask the questions about what do you need? We work really hard to achieve those needs. What makes it work is an open, fun dialogue where we can work together to get to your tooling to where you need it with your brand goals. What makes it hard is when the communication is slower or not as clear, but we are very experienced at it. We work really hard to get great communication to build that relationship where we are your partner in delivering the technology to allow you to achieve your brand goals. Learn more

Christine Faria:

Talk about innovation and QCI and why it is so important.

Andrew Cardno:

Tribal gaming is incredibly innovative, and I’m so proud of the innovations that I’ve been able to bring to the industry and now, and over the years. And, and I’ve learned a lot about what’s important. What I see today is the industry is changing faster than ever. There are enormous challenges. You know, something like I can’t get the labor. I could three years ago, or I can’t; how do I forecast in this incredibly volatile environment? So these new challenges that are hitting us are dynamics that we’ve never had to experience before. Innovation and partnership with technology companies is a great way to address this very dynamic change in environment that we live in today. Learn more

Christine Faria:

Finally, Andrew you are a title sponsor for Raving’s upcoming Casino Marketing and Technology Conference, and the Host and Player Development Conference coming up July 12th. Tell us what you’ll be sharing at the conference.
