As we kick off the new year, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the successes of the past year in the casino industry. 2022 was a record year for eConnect, and we are grateful for the support of our customers, partners, and team members.
One of the defining moments of the year was the realization that people who had been 86’ed from a property were ignoring requests not to return and were coming back over and over. This was a serious security breach, and we knew we had to do something about it. That’s when we introduced facial recognition technology to the casino industry.
At eConnect, we are proud to be at the forefront of this movement, using facial recognition to help keep repeat offenders out of casinos and to keep the property safe for all guests. In addition to its security benefits, facial recognition technology has also proven to be invaluable for employee clocking in and out.
With eConnect’s technology, there is no longer a need for personalized ID access cards or static time clocks. This not only improves security but also makes the clocking-in and out process more efficient and convenient for employees. Our technology also allows us to recognize uncarded play, which has been a significant problem in the casino industry. By using facial recognition, we can accurately and conveniently identify players and track their time on the property, improving the overall security and compliance of the property.As we begin the new year, we are excited to continue leading the industry with our casino video surveillance technologies.
