Treasure Spirits Leads New Ainsworth Portfolio

Ainsworth’s Treasure Spirits Linked Progressive series made its debut at G2E 2022 as part of a step forward for the company’s growing arsenal of game development talent and game strategy.

Less than four months later, the games have shown strong performance at some of the most influential casino properties in North America, with hundreds of successful installations across California, Nevada, Oklahoma, Arizona and beyond. Early indicators show a vast improvement in Ainsworth’s low denom performance on the A-STAR Curve cabinet.

The two game series – Dragon and Phoenix – offers players multiple chases. During the base game, a 5th Reel Instant Win can award up to 200x bet. Three Coin Symbols award the Hold ‘n Stack Feature, enabling players to win credit awards, two Progressive Jackpots and two Bonus Prizes through an innovative Symbol Collection play mechanic.

Each title also offers a Free Games feature in a 243-way format. The games offer player selectable multi-denoms (1c-2c-5c-10c) with a 60 credit entry bet.

Following Up Treasure Spirits

Ainsworth will follow up Treasure Spirits with two additional game families aimed at attracting Linked Progressive players to the A-STAR Curve in early 2023. Both have been showcased at the company’s Showroom Live presented by TG&H events and at G2E.

Ca$h Stacks Gold offers the same Hold ‘n Stack and 5th Reel Instant Win Features as Treasure Spirits in a line game version. Ultra Shot introduces the Hold ‘n Stack play mechanic in a similar bet structure. Ca$h Stacks Gold will be available for placements next month and Ultra Shot is scheduled to hit casino floors this Spring.

Looking to the Future

Ainsworth’s Game Development strategy has been revitalized since the arrival of new Chief Product Officer David Bollesen in late 2021. An increased focus on “Sight, Sound, Action” has led to an improved look and feel of Ainsworth’s low denomination content.

In addition to Bollesen, Ainsworth has Game Development talent across its Las Vegas and Sydney Studios. Melinda Parr, a 20-year veteran of the industry, was named Director of Studio – Sydney. In the coming months a new Las Vegas-based Vice President of Studios will be named.

Finally, in December the company announced the opening of its third Studio in partnership with Junto Creations in Austin, Texas. Veteran gaming executive Jim Palermo founded Junto Creations and will serve as a key strategic advisor to the studio. Palermo previously served in key Game Development, Product Strategy and Leadership roles with Everi, Incredible Technologies and WMS Gaming.
