Vetnos Makes History with First Class II Gaming App Available in Google Play Store.

Changing Google’s RMG Policy to Include Class II Gaming Opens Vast New Opportunities for Tribes.

New York, NY (February 4, 2025) — Indian Country now has access to 133.4 million potential new audience members for existing and future Class II gaming apps, made up of the people in the United States who use Android phones and devices, thanks to Vetnos LLC., and the Chicken Ranch Tribe of Me-Wuk Indians.

The Vetnos and Chicken Ranch teams worked with Google to support this innovation, continuing Google’s commitment to recognizing Tribal governments in the legal gaming space. The door is now open to a new playing field: app-based Class II play.

“The significance of this moment cannot be overstated,” said Lloyd Mathiesen, President, Chicken Ranch Economic Development Corporation (CREDC). “Because Google now understands and recognizes Class II, Tribes across the country have an exceptional new opportunity. Class II revenues remain with the Tribe and the community wins. We thank Google for working with us and recognizing Tribal governmental gaming.

“Vetnos is many things–innovative, fiercely driven and deeply resilient. We are also in service to Indian Country, and thanks to Google, our journey is just beginning,” said Vetnos Founder and Managing Partner Joshua Berkowitz. “Vetnos took a giant leap for Class II advancement with achieving the inclusion of Class II in the AppStore. The growth of Class II mobile on premise sought by any casino or provider in the industry experienced a win by this effort.”
