Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (December 4, 2023) – Turning Stone Enterprises will continue the evolution of its sports wagering experience when all three of its sports books officially change to TS Sports on December 18. The new sports books will debut at Turning Stone’s newest venue, NY Rec & Social Club, as well as YBR Casino & Sports Book and Point Place Casino.
In 2019, Turning Stone Enterprises launched a marketing partnership with Caesars Sportsbook to be among the first locations in the state to offer in-person sports betting. Today, as the organization’s marketing partnership with Caesars concludes, TS Sports will continue to be operated and overseen by Turning Stone Enterprises and will offer guests the same depth and breadth of wagers they have enjoyed for years.
The debut of TS Sports coincides with the grand opening of NY Rec & Social Club at Turning Stone. Bridging the gap between sports book and lounge, the new modern venue will boast 60 high-definition screens displaying all the biggest games, as well as a variety of social games such as foosball, shuffleboard, darts and billiards. Guests will also enjoy table games, including blackjack and craps, innovative game day fare from Chef de Cuisine Dustin Tuthill and signature cocktails served at a main bar sparkling with crystal chandeliers. The venue will offer seating for approximately 200 guests on its first level with additional outdoor patio seating to open in Spring 2024, plus an upper level that will be available for private events.
“Caesars has been a valuable partner in our efforts to establish our sports books as the most exciting places for fans to watch the big game and place their wagers,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO. “The launch of TS Sports will help us continue this tradition as we further evolve these venues and the experience they offer.”
Turning Stone Enterprises has created the definitive sports wagering experience in the state with New York’s two largest sports books located at NY Rec & Social Club and YBR Casino & Sports Book. With 9,000 square feet of space to accommodate up to 250 fans on game day, YBR Casino & Sports Book is also home to a custom-built, 32-foot LED screen, more than 35 additional screens for sports viewing and six luxurious fan caves that offer private, lounge-style viewing areas, guest-controlled screens and personal food and beverage service.
Most recently, the sports book at Point Place Casino also received significant updates with a new full-service restaurant and bar. Here, guests can savor a variety of wing sauces and rubs, pizza, sandwiches, and other game day favorites and take advantage of a full bar serving signature cocktails as they watch and wager on their favorite teams.
