LAWTON, Okla. (January 13, 2024) – The Tribal Leadership Council (TLC) is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Center for the Future of Work (CFW).
TLC and CFW will work together to offer various certifications for Tribal leaders and executives. The courses offered will feature Building Business Acumen and Data Analytics for Gaming, Project MBA: Business Acumen for Tribal Leaders, and six assessments.
“All of the courses being offered by the OSU CFW in partnership with the TLC will directly benefit aspiring and current Tribal leaders by leveraging CFW’s extensive work with Tribal nations and gaming enterprises,” said TLC President Justin Barrett. “TLC is committed to providing quality educational opportunities for leadership and this partnership highlights that commitment.”
The Building Business Acumen and Data Analytics for Gaming will be a two-day program focused on topics providing practical ways to improve acumen in gaming and analytics.
Project MBA will be a custom-designed program for Tribal leaders and executives. Project MBA is built around the following modules: 1) Developing leadership awareness, 2) Economic growth, development, and diversification, 3) Marketing, 4) Strategic Management, and 5) Finance & Accounting.
