Spotlight 29 Casino’s All Star Jam Concert To Benefit Martha’s Village

Spotlight 29 Casino is proud to present All Star Jam featuring several rock legends including Wally Palmar (The Romantics), Steve Augeri (Journey former lead vocalist), Jason Scheff (former lead singer of the band Chicago), John Elefante (former lead singer of Kansas), and the critically acclaimed Sixwire, who was the 2019 house band for the NFL Draft in Nashville. The ultimate jam session takes place Saturday, November 2, at 8 p.m. in the Spotlight Showroom at Spotlight 29 Casino. One hundred percent of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Martha’s Village.

Palmar is best known as a founding member and frequent lead singer of the American new wave band The Romantics, which formed in 1977. He’s an American rock musician, recording artist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. The Romantics’ are best known for hits such as “What I Like About You,” and “Talking in Your Sleep.”

Augeri draws on a range of diverse musical influences to deliver a unique take on the genre of melodic rock. He is an American rock singer best known as the lead vocalist for the rock group Journey from 1998 – 2006. Augeri will entertain with songs such as “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Separate Ways.”

In mid-1985, 23-year old Scheff joined the multi-platinum band Chicago, after Peter Cetera departed. Scheff’s lead vocals were debuted on the single “25 or 6 to 4,” and followed up with “Will You Still Love Me?” which became one of Chicago’s biggest hits.

Elefante is known for his tenure as frontman of the rock group Kansas. He’s an American singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer. Kansas hits include “Carry on Wayward Son,” “Dust in the Wind,” and countless others.

Each of these rock legends will sing with house band Sixwire. Collectively, Sixwire members have been seen on television programs that include American Idol, Nashville, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Nashville Star, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and both the ACM Awards and the CMA Awards, plus many others.

Martha’s Village, a non-profit organization, is one of the largest providers of homeless services in the Coachella Valley and Riverside County. Located in Indio, Martha’s Village was founded in 1990 and offers life-changing programs to help break the cycle of homelessness. Services include food, childcare, career preparation, education, healthcare and case management.
