SNOQUALMIE, WASHINGTON (March 16, 2020) – To protect the health and well-being of the community and the casino team members, the Snoqualmie Tribe has decided to temporarily suspend all casino operations through March 31. The closure will be effective March 18th at 2AM. During that period, Snoqualmie Casino will cover wages and benefits for its 1100 team members.
While Snoqualmie Casino took drastic precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its casino, the Snoqualmie Tribe and casino management team support the recommendation by national health officials and the Governor’s Office to practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
“The health and well-being of our guests, team and community takes precedence over anything else,” says Snoqualmie Tribe Chairman Robert de los Angeles. “It is without hesitation that we do our part by temporarily closing our Snoqualmie Casino operation. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and evaluate whether the temporary closure needs to extend beyond March 31st.”
The Crescent Market, also owned and operated by the Snoqualmie Tribe will remain open to provide customers with fuel, take-out and basic grocery needs. The hours of operation will be 7AM-10PM.
