(February 16, 2026) –– No one felt the love more on Valentine’s Day than the eight people at Table 4 in the Treasure Island Resort & Casino poker room who saw an unlucky hand turn into a record $217,490.25 bad beat poker jackpot — the first time the jackpot has been hit in over two years.
With a six of clubs, three of hearts, seven of diamonds, seven of hearts and six of spades showing on the board, pocket sixes ultimately lost out to pocket sevens, triggering the massive bad beat jackpot. The victim of the bad beat received a $108,745.13 payout, while the winner took home $54,372.57. The remaining six table members were paid out over $9,000 each.
The bad beat jackpot, which triggers when a hand of four-of-a-kind or better is beaten by an even better hand, hadn’t hit at Treasure Island since February 1, 2024, when a lucky table split a $195,829.56 pot. Saturday’s jackpot was the largest of its kind in The Island’s history. And despite the jackpot hitting on Saturday, the current bad beat jackpot at Treasure Island remains above $200,000, the highest such jackpot in the region.
The bad beat recipient joins several other individuals who have hit jackpots of $100,000 or more at Treasure Island in 2026. In January, two lucky guests took home $100k-plus, including a $100,000 Bingo Millions Mini jackpot. Earlier in February, an Eagan, Minnesota, woman won $111,048.12 on the slot machine Dancing Drums.
