Summertime ushers in sunshine and warm weather, time at the beach and at the pool, and for several large news publications, summer starts their readers’ poll season.
Recently, the Riverside Press-Enterprise, Orange County Register, Southern California Gaming Guide and USA Today’s 10Best.com asked their readers to rate their favorite casinos. One name – Pechanga – rose to the top among all four.
Early in the summer, the Press-Enterprise and Orange County Register, two of Southern California’s largest newspapers and news websites, asked their readers to vote for their favorite things in the region. They wanted to know everything from their favorite hairstylist to their favorite casino/resort. In both publications, readers named Pechanga Resort Casino as the best casino in Southern California.
Shortly after the first two readers’ polls got underway, the Southern California Gaming Guide queried their readers to rate their favorite casinos and the amenities within them. The publication announced in their October issue that Pechanga landed in the number one spot in five categories: Best Casino Resort, Best Entertainment, Best Poker, Best Casino Spa and Best Casino Golf Course.
In mid-August, Pechanga Resort Casino was nominated among 20 casino/resorts around the country in two separate categories – Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas and Best Hotel Casino – by USA Today’s 10Best.com. Pechanga placed third in both categories, besting well-known properties in Las Vegas and the East Coast.
