Palm Springs, CA (May 12, 2025) — Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), in partnership with Agua Caliente Casinos, yesterday, unveiled the Agua Caliente Oasis — an immersive new feature within the Agua Caliente Concourse that invites travelers to unwind and take in the spirit of the desert in a space inspired by the region’s iconic landscape and signature style.
Blending hospitality, innovation, and design, the Oasis transforms a busy concourse into a breezy, welcoming space to relax, recharge, and plug in. Featuring palm trees, breezeblock-inspired walls, poolside-style flooring, modern lounge seating, and plenty of convenient charging stations, the installation elevates the travel experience while reflecting the distinct character of the Coachella Valley.
Located within the Agua Caliente Concourse — named through a landmark 2024 partnership between Agua Caliente Casinos and PSP — this section of the airport includes Gates 12-20 and features the newly renovated Nine Cities Craft restaurant and Uptown Essentials retail space. Both concessions were designed to highlight the best of the Coachella Valley, incorporating local flavors, products, and design elements.
The Agua Caliente Oasis is the latest addition to PSP’s growing lineup of traveler-focused amenities. Its debut comes as PSP continues to see unprecedented growth, with three record-breaking months to start 2025 — including its busiest month on record in March, when nearly half a million passengers traveled through the airport.
“This experiential installation is more than a resting place — it’s an extension of the warm, welcoming spirit that defines the Coachella Valley,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., Executive Director of Aviation at Palm Springs International Airport. “Located on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation, PSP honors the deep roots and vibrant culture of the land we share. The Oasis reflects our commitment to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for every traveler who passes through PSP.”
“We are thrilled to introduce this uniquely designed space at Palm Springs International Airport,” said Saverio R. Scheri III, Chief Operating Officer of Agua Caliente Casinos. “The Oasis not only provides travelers a space to pause and recharge but also serves as a preview of the elevated service and exceptional offerings that define our world-class hospitality at all Agua Caliente Casino properties.”
The development of the Oasis is part of an ongoing collaboration between PSP and Agua Caliente Casinos, offering travelers an immersive experience of PSP and the Agua Caliente brand.
Since the naming rights agreement was signed in 2023, the partnership between PSP and Agua Caliente Casinos has ushered in a new chapter of innovation and community-centered design, positioning Palm Springs International Airport not just as a gateway, but as a destination in its own right.
