TULSA, OKLA (July 26, 2024) — Leaders from the Muscogee Nation and Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises announced today a
$100 million capital investment to build the Coweta Casino Hotel on 17 acres at the southeast corner of East 131st Street South and State Highway 51 in Coweta, Okla. The project will break ground in September 2024 and open in Spring 2026. The Coweta Casino Hotel will create 250 new jobs in the greater Tulsa region.
The 104,000 square-foot development features a 35,000 square-foot casino with 750 new, state-of-the art gaming machines. Additionally, the development will benefit regional tourism with an upscale, 46-room hotel with a pool, fitness center, concierge services, and a meeting and event space to accommodate as many as 150 guests.

“We are proud to reclaim land throughout our historic reservation and this project adds to our significant economic development investments within the greater Tulsa region. The Coweta Casino Hotel will expand cultural tourism, create jobs and enhance the quality of life of our citizens.”
Plans for the Coweta Casino Hotel also include a raised center casino bar, full-service, 150-seat restaurant and private dining room. Externally, visitors will be welcomed by a 1,000-space, paved parking lot and a vibrant porte- cochère entrance.
