Morongo’s Iconic Hadley Fruit Orchards Unveils Exciting Café Expansion

Diners can enjoy Hadley’s world-famous date shakes and delicious new menu offerings in the roadside fruit & nut destination owned by the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. 

CABAZON, Calif. (April 16, 2024)Hadley Fruit Orchards, the iconic roadside landmark that has charmed and nourished desert travelers for decades, has expanded its café, adding a larger dining room, new menu items, and a dedicated express line for those craving a signature Hadley’s Date Shake.

Nearly doubled in size to 1,277 square feet, the Hadley’s Café now accommodates up to 72 guests with 18 tables, offering ample seating to enjoy the café’s delicious pizzas, salads and sandwiches while enjoying the vintage ambiance that celebrates Hadley’s 93-year history.

“Hadley Fruit Orchards has been a must-stop for decades, and we are always exploring new ideas for enhancing our customer experience and showcasing our premium products,” said Hadley’s General Manager Kelly DeGraw. “We are excited to welcome guests into a spacious new dining room where they can enjoy our world-famous date shakes and our new Café creations.”

Hadley’s Café recently unveiled an enticing array of new menu items, from homemade chicken, pork , beef or jalapeño cheese tamales to all-beef Chicago-Style hot dogs topped with jalapeños, onions, tomato, and bacon, to a mouthwatering brisket burger.

But no trip to Hadley’s is complete without a world-renowned Hadley Date Shake or Banana Date Shake, made with real ice cream and only the highest-quality Deglet Noor dates because of their delicately soft texture and sweet caramel taste. The Café also recently added a Vegan Shake made with almond milk and signature Deglet Noor dates.

“Generations of customers have made a stop at Hadley’s a family tradition as they travel through the San Gorgonio Pass,” said Morongo Tribal Chairman Charles Martin. “Our Café expansion allows us to serve more guests while staying true to our commitment to the Hadley legacy of offering only the most wholesome and natural foods.”

The Hadley market and café are open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for grocery shopping and indoor dining.
