Wheatland, Calif. (August 22, 2024) — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is hosting a special event with San Francisco Giants legend and retired manager of the World Series Winning Houston Astros, Dusty Baker, on September 7 starting at 5:00 p.m., with a live on-stage interview by former Sacramento Kings player Harold Pressley, and both will meet and greet with fans. Tickets also include a signed bottle of wine from the Dusty Baker Winery (for ticketholders aged 21+) and Pressley will sign photographs for fans. Tickets are available here and start at $27.76 per person and vary depending on the varietal of wine selected.
Dusty Baker, a leftfielder primarily known for hitting home runs, played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB), most notably with the Los Angeles Dodgers as well as stints with the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A’s. After retiring, Baker became an MLB team manager for the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals until he took over managing the Houston Astros in 2020. In 2022, Baker led the Astros to a Major League World Series Championship. Earlier this year, Baker returned to the Giants as a special advisor.
In 2013, Dusty Baker teamed up with winemaker Chik Brenneman to create B and B Wines. His eponymous Baker Family Wines is an urban winery brand specializing in handcrafted and limited productions wines, bottled in West Sacramento.
