ROHNERT PARK, Calif. (August 6, 2024)– Graton Resort & Casino, the Bay Area’s premier gaming destination, will unveil its new five-story parking structure on Tuesday, August 12. The garage adds 1,600 spots and 32 EV charging stations to the resort. Using next-generation wayfinding, the garage’s new digital signage system displays real-time parking space availability on every level, ensuring an effortless experience for guests. The new construction features several sustainable elements, highlighted by a 1-megawatt photovoltaic solar panel system that completely offsets the building’s electrical energy usage.
- LED light fixtures
- Water-conscious plants and landscaping
- Low-level VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) concrete, paints, and adhesives
Designed with elevated floor heights, the garage interior exudes a welcoming atmosphere with its open, airy, and well-lit spaces. The parking lot includes extra-wide spots with double lines to prevent dings and scratches.
With the opening of the new garage, the casino’s valet services now feature zero-emission, 100% electric shuttles, providing guests with a safe and comfortable ride for guests to and from the facility.
Expansion Update. The new parking structure marks the first completed project in a multi-year expansion that began last summer. The upcoming phase will involve extending the casino to the east of the current facility, adding a new poker room, a high-limit gaming area, a sports bar, and a rooftop restaurant.
The project architects are Walter P. Moore & Associates and Bergman Walls & Associates. The project developer is ECL Development LLC, and the general contractor is SMC Contracting, Inc.
