George Lopez Set to Perform at the Diamond Center on May 24

TUCSON, Ariz. (March 24, 2025) — Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment welcomes comedian and actor George Lopez to the Diamond Center on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Tickets start at $60 and can be purchased through Etix and at Desert Diamond Casino’s Box Office starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 28. Doors open at 7 p.m.; show starts at 8 p.m. This show is for mature audiences. Anyone exhibiting COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms, or with recent exposure to a person with COVID-19, is asked to stay home.

Lopez currently stars in and executive produces his comedy series for NBC, “Lopez vs Lopez,” featuring his real-life daughter, Mayan Lopez. He has also produced and starred in “Lopez” for two seasons on TV Land, co-created and starred in “Saint George” for FX, and hosted TBS’ inaugural late night talk show, “Lopez Tonight,” for two seasons, marking Lopez’s return to series television after co-creating, writing, producing and starring in Warner Bros. Television’s groundbreaking hit sitcom “George Lopez,” which ran for six seasons on ABC. He has four HBO specials: “The Wall” (2017), “It’s Not Me, It’s You” (2012), “Tall, Dark and Chicano” (2009), which was nominated for a Best Comedy Album Grammy Award, and “America’s Mexican” (2007).

Lopez’s extensive film credits include “Walking with Herb,” “No Man’s Land,” “The Tax Collector,” and “Valentine’s Day.” An icon and advocate for Latino representation, Lopez was the focus of the award-winning documentary “Brown is the New Green: George Lopez and the American Dream,” as he struggles to stand for Latinos in a manner true to their realities and aspirations. In 2005, Time named him one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America. The following year, Lopez received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
