Enterprise Rancheria and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento Continue Annual Pinktober Commitment to Sutter Health with $220,000 Gift

Additional donations were also made to the Northern CA American Cancer Society and the Adventist Cancer Center

Wheatland, Calif. (November 19, 2025) — The Enterprise Rancheria Tribe, the owner of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, granted its second annual donation in a five-year commitment to gift a total of $1 million to Sutter Medical Foundation. This year’s donation amounted to $220,000 and was presented at its sold out annual Pinktober Gala on October 25, 2025. When announced last year, this landmark donation was the largest ever received by Sutter Medical Foundation. These gifts will support the greater Yuba Sutter County cancer patient and family population through programs, services, equipment, and more. This year, the Enterprise Community Fund also granted two gifts to other local cancer treatment organizations, including $10,000 to the Northern California American Cancer Society and $10,000 to Adventist Cancer Center in Marysville to purchase new infusion chairs.

“Partnering with Sutter Health allows us to invest in something deeply meaningful, and that is the health and well-being of our neighbors,” said Glenda Nelson, Chairwoman of the Enterprise Rancheria Tribe. “Through this gift, we’re helping to create a future where members of the Yuba Sutter Region can access the care they need here in this community.”

A year ago, Sutter Health leaders accepted the landmark donation which is being distributed as $200,000 gifts annually over five years through the Enterprise Community Fund. This philanthropic investment is helping drive impactful innovations in cancer care for residents in and around Yuba and Sutter counties and the greater Sacramento region.

The Pinktober Gala continues to be a powerful platform for raising awareness and support for cancer care initiatives. Funds raised through the event are helping Sutter Health expand access to high-quality care, building on its commitment to the Yuba Sutter community. Sutter Health opened a new primary care clinic in Plumas Lake earlier this spring, and a lung cancer screening program launched last year to identify at-risk patients earlier and improve outcomes.

“We are excited to be partnering with Enterprise Rancheria to shape the future of cancer care for everyone in our community,” said Dr. Steven Blair, President and CEO of Sutter North Medical Group. “Together, we’re building a more comprehensive, integrated, and connected health system that brings care closer to home.”

“As we continue to support this partnership, this $1 million gift to Sutter Medical Foundation continues our commitment to the communities we reside in and allows us to have a direct and positive impact on those in need in our region,” said Mark Birtha, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. “It is truly transformative”.
