(June 8, 2023) — WHAT: Mohegan Sun is proud to announce that Thomas Rhett will be the newest Walk of Fame inductee – the 39th group or individual to receive the honor. Thomas Rhett will be honored with a Walk of Fame star just hours before the first of his back-to-back Home Team Tour 23 performances with Cole Swindell and Nate Smith.

IN DETAIL: Thomas Rhett joins the likes of Chris Rock, Luke Combs, Shinedown, Kenny Chesney, New Kids On The Block, Bon Jovi, Taylor Swift, and more as the 39th inductee into the Mohegan Sun Arena Walk of Fame. Rhett will be honored with an induction ceremony on Friday, June 9th that includes remarks by Mohegan Sun and Tribal Executives, followed by the presentation of a star plaque outside of the Mohegan Sun Box Office. Both media and the general public are invited to attend.
Thomas Rhett has 20 No. 1 singles, 15 billion streams and the longest current active streak of consecutive #1s in the format (Mediabase/Country Aircheck Chart). He has been honored with eight ACM Awards including “Entertainer of the Year,” two CMA Awards, five GRAMMY nominations, plus trophies from the CMT Music Awards, Billboard Awards and iHeartRadio Awards, in addition to being recognized with four CMA Triple Play awards for penning three No. 1 songs within a 12-month period. Since Thomas Rhett’s Mohegan Sun Arena debut in 2013, the multi-platinum artist’s upcoming shows will be his seventh performance at Mohegan Sun, including one performance in the Wolf Den and his six sold-out shows at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Mohegan Sun Walk of Fame honors individuals who have made major contributions to Mohegan Sun’s success as the Northeast’s top entertainment destination. The names of all those admitted into the Walk of Fame will be etched on a plaque that will be permanently displayed at the entrance of Mohegan Sun Arena.
