Country music trailblazer and legend Lorrie Morgan headlines Hard Rock Live Aug. 30

TULSA, Okla. (May 13, 2025) — Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa will welcome country music legend Lorrie Morgan to the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Hard Rock Live inside the casino.

A trailblazer in country music, Morgan became the first woman in country music to begin her career with three consecutive platinum albums. Renowned for her ability to bring songs to life with emotionally charged vocals and captivating storytelling, she has spent decades at the forefront of country music.

From the heart-wrenching ballads “A Picture of Me (Without You)” and “I Guess You Had To Be There” to the feisty anthems “Watch Me,” “What Part of No” and “Five Minutes,” Morgan’s catalog is a testament to her versatility and longevity in the industry.

Morgan’s career is deeply intertwined with country music history. The daughter of Country Music Hall of Famer George Morgan, she made her Grand Ole Opry debut at just 13 years old and became an official Opry member at 24. She was married to country star Keith Whitley until his untimely passing in 1989, and their duet “Til a Tear Becomes a Rose” earned a CMA Award in 1990. Over the years, she has collaborated with Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Dolly Parton, Pam Tillis, Tammy Wynette and The Beach Boys, among others.

In 2024, Morgan released her first new studio album in seven years, “Dead Girl Walking,” working with award-winning producer Richard Landis. The album ties together her personal and career journey, showcasing a depth of songs from deep heartache to bright humor — something reflected even in Morgan herself, as someone whose life has been as true to the country songs she sings.

With multiple platinum and gold albums, four TNN/Music City News Female Vocalist of the Year awards, and a stage presence that captivates audiences, Lorrie Morgan remains a force in country music. Whether delivering a heartfelt ballad or a lively, sassy performance, she brings an authenticity and passion that few can match.

Tickets start at $24.50 and go on sale May 9.
