Cache Creek Casino Resort Inaugural Golf Tournament Raises $70,000 for Special Olympics Northern California

Brooks, Calif. (November 14, 2023) — On October 26, Cache Creek Casino Resort and the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation hosted their inaugural charity golf tournament in partnership with industries nationwide at the award-winning Yocha Dehe Golf Club.

Tribal leaders, vendors, and community partners gathered at the championship golf course with hopes to raise at least $50,000 for Special Olympics Northern California. The initial projections were far exceeded with nearly $70,000 raised going directly to the organization. The organization is dedicated to promoting inclusivity and empowering children and adults with intellectual disabilities, both on and off the field.

“The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation remains committed to building strong, inclusive communities,” said Anthony Roberts, Tribal Chairman of Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. “We are thrilled to share the natural beauty of our homelands with our valued partners to help raise funds for such an admirable organization,” Roberts continued.
